Sports Program

School sports are organized athletic programs within schools, offering students the chance to engage in various physical activities and team sports. These programs often include popular sports such as soccer, basketball, baseball, volleyball, track and field, swimming, and many others, depending on the school's facilities and student interest.

Participating in school sports can foster a sense of teamwork, discipline, and leadership among students. It encourages physical fitness and healthy competition, while also teaching important life skills like perseverance, time management, and strategic thinking. School sports often play a significant role in school spirit, bringing students, parents, and staff together to support their teams during matches or tournaments. Whether as part of an intramural program or a competitive league, school sports contribute positively to both the physical and social development of students.

Badminton

Badminton is a fast-paced racquet sport played on a rectangular court divided by a net. It can be played in singles (one player on each side) or doubles (two players on each side). The objective is to hit a shuttlecock (a feathered or plastic projectile) over the net in such a way that it lands in the opponent’s side of the court, while preventing the opponent from doing the same.

Basketball

Basketball is a popular team sport played on a rectangular court with two hoops at each end, mounted 10 feet above the floor. It is typically played between two teams of five players each, with the objective of scoring points by shooting the basketball through the opponent's hoop while preventing the opposing team from doing the same.

Football

Football, also known as soccer in some countries, is the world’s most popular sport, played by two teams of 11 players each on a rectangular field with a goal at either end. The objective is to score goals by getting the ball into the opponent’s net while preventing the opposing team from scoring in their own. The game is typically played on a grass or artificial turf field and lasts 90 minutes, divided into two 45-minute halves with a halftime break in between.

Cricket

Cricket is a bat-and-ball sport played between two teams, each typically consisting of 11 players. It is widely popular in countries such as India, England, Australia, Pakistan, and South Africa. The game is played on a large, oval-shaped field with a 22-yard-long pitch at the center, where most of the action occurs.

The main objective of cricket is to score more runs than the opposing team. One team bats while the other fields and bowls. The batting team aims to score runs by hitting the ball and running between the wickets or by hitting the ball to the boundary (scoring four or six runs, depending on whether the ball touches the ground). The fielding team tries to restrict the number of runs scored and dismiss the batters by bowling them out, catching the ball, or executing run-outs.
